Shield
The sprocket wheel is used to symbolize the unit's former mission to provide command and technical operational supervision of attached maintenance units. The annulet alludes to continuous mobility. The crescent on the blue background was suggested by the State flag of South Carolina. The crescent is also symbolic of vigilance or watchfulness. Crimson and blue are colors used by Maintenance units, the former designation of the unit.
Crest
The crest is that of the South Carolina Army National Guard.
The coat of arms was originally approved for the 751st Maintenance Battalion on 14 December 1998. It was redesignated effective 1 September 2008, for the 751st Support Battalion with the description and symbolism updated.
